We’re a middle-class family who bought our home 30 years ago. Back then, the bathroom was built outside the house and wasn’t included in the property documents. We were told verbally that it was ours. For the past 30 years, we’ve been using this bathroom. Now, the owners are claiming it’s theirs because it’s on their papers, even though it’s not on ours. It’s just a small space, about 5 by 5 feet. We have no alternative and no space to build another bathroom. They’re constantly pressuring us to give up the bathroom. What should we do?

Hey there, I’ve just agreed to buy an apartment in PCMC for â‚¹30 lakhs. I’ve already paid â‚¹6 lakhs and will take a loan for the remaining â‚¹24 lakhs after the sale deed is done. My question is – can I go ahead with the sale deed after paying stamp duty and registration fees, with only a notarized Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)? I bought an apartment in 2011 from Mr. X and Mr. Y. Mr. X had bought it from the builder in 2002 and gave power of attorney to Mr. Y. The first document I received had an EB card with a UDS of 280. After living there for a year, SBI bank and the police conducted a SARFAESI Act seizure in 2012. Shocked, I learned that Mr. A had taken a loan using a duplicate document of my house in 2003 with a UDS of 270, allegedly with the builder’s help. I filed a case against the builder and Mr. A in the crime branch, who were both arrested. However, the case continues in various courts, including DRT, DRAT, and the High Court, without a resolution. I am a genuine buyer, and I need help to regain access to my apartment immediately. What steps can I take to get justice and regain possession of my property?

Hi,My family booked a flat in JP Nagar back in October 2015 and paid a 15 lakh booking amount via cheques. We have all the receipts.
