I paid a booking amount of â‚¹1.3 lakh for a housing project in Vatlur (Mini Bypass Road) by APHB on February 28, 2011. The project was announced in a demand survey notification on February 13, 2011. In 2014, the booking amount was increased, and I paid an additional â‚¹72,000 on November 11, 2014. However, the project never started, and I haven’t received my booking amount refund. When I contacted the APHB office in Tadepallegudem, they explained that the Income Tax department froze their bank account. The matter is now in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, and they cannot issue refunds until the case is resolved. This could take years. What are my options to get my booking amount back?

I booked four domestic Air India flights for a round trip from Hyderabad to Delhi through AkbarTravels.com on August 19th, for travel dates in late November. The flights were booked over three months in advance. Within three hours, I realized I had mistakenly booked the wrong travel dates â€“ I needed to fly a week later. I immediately contacted both Air India and AkbarTravels to reschedule the flights with the same airline. However, I was surprised to learn that I’d have to pay â‚¹7,200 for all four flights, almost half the original ticket price! Many international and even some domestic airlines don’t charge for reschedules within 24 hours.

A homebuyer in Delhi took a builder to the consumer court in 2012, seeking a refund. After a long wait, the court ruled in the buyer’s favor on March 14, 2016, ordering the builder to return the money with 12% interest within 45 days. The order also stated that if the builder failed to comply, the buyer could take further action under the Consumer Protection Act. The builder, however, didn’t respond and didn’t appeal the decision by May 16, 2016.The buyer then filed an execution petition on May 16, 2016, with the next hearing scheduled for June 6, 2016. Can the builder still appeal the court’s decision to the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) despite the delay, or is the builder now obligated to follow the state court’s order?

I ordered a phone from Quikr, but when it arrived, I found a bar of soap instead! I immediately contacted Quikr, and they said they’d investigate. The next day, the courier guy called saying my package was ready. It seems like the first package was fake, but it had my order ID, address, and phone number printed on it. My Tata Docomo Photon Plus internet connection disappeared on August 5th, 2015. I contacted their customer service that same day and informed them about the lost connection, but I didn’t actually cancel it. They registered it as a lost dongle. I booked a flat in August 2016, in a pre-launch project, paying the full amount upfront. The project was supposed to start last year, but it’s still not underway. I, Pankaj Vasudeva, had a notarized agreement to buy a flat for â‚¹45 lakhs. I paid â‚¹30 lakhs by cheque and â‚¹5 lakhs in cash as an advance payment. The agreement stipulated a one-year timeframe for the registered sale deed. However, the flat lacked building usage permission, making it ineligible for a loan.
