My family moved into a new flat on 10th October 2016, and signed a 2-year lease. We paid a security deposit and a brokerage fee equivalent to one month’s rent. Dear Sir,My father is the only son and his parents passed away several years ago. His father owned property that was divided in two parts. My father was raised by one of the sharers, who essentially became his father figure. This individual has given most of the property to his own sons. Now, my grandfather is no longer alive and his sons, my uncles, are planning to renovate some old shops without our consent. Half of the land is in my father’s name, but the shops were always run by my uncles. With the renovations starting, we want our share of the property. Please advise on what we should do.

My family and I bought a flat under construction from Jaypee Group a few years back. Unfortunately, the builder is facing financial difficulties and construction has been stalled for almost 3 years. They’ve offered us a ready-to-move-in flat at another location, which we’re open to. My family bought a 4,500 square foot plot of land in a village thirty years ago. The original owner, who owned the entire area, included a 20-foot wide road access in our property deed. This was done for two other families who bought land from the same owner. He had no land left after these sales. But, surprisingly, land records still show 1,200 square feet in his name.Recently, the original owner sold this 1,200 square feet of “road access land” to a property dealer. They even signed a registered agreement! This dealer is now trying to build on my plot, claiming ownership. What steps can I take to get this agreement cancelled? How do I get the land records corrected and prevent this 1,200 square feet from being transferred to the dealer’s name?
