I bought a plot in Jaipur from a builder, promising to resell it within a year without registering it officially. I paid him in installments through 12 post-dated checks. Now, he’s demanding extra money, claiming it’s for mandatory JDA fees he paid. He wants the payment in 10 days. But he never mentioned this extra charge before selling me the plot. I bought a house in 2014 from a seller, paid the full price, registered it in my name, and even cleared all the municipal taxes. My parents have three children: a son and two daughters. My brother didn’t finish his education and has been involved in various businesses, unfortunately losing a significant portion of our father’s property. My sisters and I are married. My brother married a woman who was previously married and has a son from her first marriage.
