My dear friend, three years ago I registered for a court marriage and submitted a separation letter. Now, I wish to completely end this relationship and cancel the marriage registration. Could you please guide me on the procedure and the expected timeframe? Will this cancellation cause any issues in my future marriage? I bought a phone from a well-known Indian company recently. The box proudly claims a feature in big letters, but it’s completely untrue! The phone doesn’t even have that function. I bought a flat in Bangalore in 2004 and have lived there ever since. I took a loan from Standard Chartered Bank to buy it. Recently, I discovered that the sale agreement with the builder wasn’t registered, but the sale deed was registered and all stamp duty was paid. However, the joint development agreement between the builder and the landlord wasn’t registered. The builder held a Power of Attorney from the landlord when I registered the property, but this Power of Attorney wasn’t registered. The landlord bought the land in 2003 through a registered sale deed, but the previous landlord got it through a court settlement in Bangalore Civil Court, and this court order wasn’t registered. Now, if I want to sell the flat, do I have a clear title? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My father, 70 years old, lives with me and my family in our ancestral home. I’m 45 and unemployed, relying on past savings to support us. I’ve been fighting a case in the Punjab and Haryana High Court since 2012. After several delays, I had to argue my case myself as my lawyer wasn’t present. The judges gave me some directions and asked for additional documents (like P-12 to P-15). Now, I want to handle everything myself.
