I retired from my Central Government job after 28 years, opting for VRS on July 22nd, 2013, with my last day being November 6th, 2013. My birthdate is June 1st, 1964, and my official retirement date would have been May 31st, 2024. My VRS was approved and I left on November 6th, 2013, as planned.However, I received my Pension Payment Order (PPO) a few months later, showing a final salary of Rs. 23,980/-. This was lower than my last drawn salary of Rs. 24,010/-, which I received until my departure. I’ve heard that my department might have made changes to my pay after my VRS, impacting my pension calculation.
