My family and I rented a flat for three years, but moved out 45 days ago. My two-year-old son used colored wax pencils on three walls. I bought a plot in Mysore from a developer, it’s a converted DC site. I’ve been paying installments every three months since 2014. But now, they’re saying my membership is cancelled because I missed the last three payments. The agreement mentions cancellation after two missed payments. How could they accept payments every three months for two years if this was the case? Can I take any legal action?

My father had struck a deal to sell his land at 50 lakh rupees per bigha, but the buyers had written 38 lakh rupees per bigha in the agreement. When my father wanted to see the agreement, the buyers refused to show it. Fortunately, he managed to get a copy of the agreement and realized the discrepancy. He was naturally worried and refused to sell the land at the lower price. A 1998 court order granted possession of a property to a landlord, but only described the land by its boundaries, not a plot number. The landlord claimed to have acquired the property from a third party through a registered document, mentioning the tenant as a contractor for the land. In 2011, the landlord sought execution of the decree. However, the tenant contested the execution, arguing that the property was not identifiable, was actually government land, and the area mentioned in the decree didn’t exist â€“ the land in question was only 9 acres, not the 16 acres stated in the decree. A land commission was appointed, which confirmed these discrepancies.The questions are: Can the landlord execute the court order on this property? What legal options are available to the tenant in this situation?

My father passed away 20 years ago. He had 3 brothers, all well-settled. My mother, with great difficulty, raised my sister and me. However, our property was in my grandfather’s name (who passed away 6 months ago). He didn’t consider our well-being and left the property to his three sons. My share was wrongly written in the name of one of my uncles’ sons. The condition is my mother can live there but cannot sell the property. Two of my uncles are supportive, but the uncle whose son inherited my share is not willing to share. My mother deserves her share as she was also part of the family.
