My relative got married in an Arya Samaj ceremony in Calicut, Kerala on June 11th, 2006. We only discovered this two years ago, and the matter is now in court. We’re trying to get the marriage certificate and other details, but the Arya Samaj in Calicut only confirmed the date. I paid a â‚¹50,000 booking amount (June 16th) by cheque and another â‚¹1,00,000 by cheque after the booking period ended. The seller gave me a simple receipt for one lakh rupees as part payment. Now, I don’t want the property because the seller hasn’t provided documents needed for my loan application after six months. How quickly can I legally get my money back? I’m renting in Chandigarh and want to avoid a long legal process. My booking agreement states that if the property isn’t registered, I’ll get my money back without interest. The booking was made with person A, but the property is registered in person B’s name.

We recently purchased a top-floor apartment in a well-regarded society in Delhi. We were assured that the mobile tower would be removed after a residents’ meeting decision. My business took a loan of â‚¹6 lakh from a nationalized bank in Tamil Nadu back in 2012. I pledged my property papers as security, but never registered a mortgage. My father gifted my brother and me two properties he earned himself eight months ago. We also divided an ancestral property equally between ourselves, my parents, and my brother.
