My wife, who is 41 and works as an Assistant at LIC of India in Karnal, has been with the company for 21 years. We have a daughter in 10th grade and twin sons who are 5 years old. Recently, the Supreme Court ruled that central government employees can take 2 years of paid leave to care for children under 18.
