I’ve worked with Max Speciality Film Limited (part of Max India) for over a decade. Sadly, their division closed, leaving me with promised benefits under their internal VRS scheme, only documented in an email. I joined a new job on December 7th and resigned on March 3rd, but I didn’t have to complete a notice period because I hadn’t worked for three months. Out of courtesy, I stayed an extra week to finish up paperwork and hand over my work. My resignation was approved after I completed everything.
