My husband and I filed for divorce four months ago. We bought a row house in 2014, which is mortgaged with DHFL. I’ve been paying the EMIs and want the property solely in my name. I gave my husband â‚¹5 lakhs to release his claim on the house, which is mentioned in the divorce petition. However, he’s not giving me the necessary NOC from the society because he has outstanding dues. The society won’t issue the NOC to me because of these dues, as the house is jointly owned. Since I paid the agreed amount, how can I get the house registered under my name?

I was serving in the Indian Air Force as an airman. I refused my attestation and applied for discharge, but the service dismissed me instead. They gave me a “Fit for Civil Service” certificate.
