My family and I own a property jointly, and we’ve been renting out half of it to a tenant for the past 40 years. He recently bought his own home and moved out six months ago. My ex-wife and I are both Indian citizens. I’ve lived in the UK since 2010, and she joined me here in 2013 after we married in India in 2012.
