I passed my 10th board exam in 2002 from the National Open School. My date of birth is incorrectly mentioned as 1985 on my 10th certificate, but my correct date of birth is 1988. I have my MCD birth certificate and SDM records which both state 1988 as my birth year. However, the NOS officials are asking for a court order to rectify the date of birth on my certificate. My family has been renting our apartment for over 70 years. We’re supposed to pay rent this month, but the landlord says we should pay the new developer instead. The problem is, we haven’t agreed to this developer yet! The landlord gave us all a photocopy of a letter, but it doesn’t say anything about the developer taking rent. Who should I pay, and how?
