My father has been a Delhi government employee in the Food and Supplies department for over 30 years. Last year, during a raid with two colleagues, they were accused of corruption. A complaint was filed claiming one officer was caught on camera taking a bribe. While the accused officer claimed all three were involved, there’s no video evidence of my father taking money. Despite this, all three were suspended eight months ago, even though my father wasn’t directly implicated in the FIR. Is there any way to help him get his job back?

My friend had a terrible experience with a builder who cheated him. I introduced him to an agent I’ve known for six years, who works exclusively with a builder called M/S.xxx. He booked two office spaces in a new commercial project and paid the full amount of â‚¹45 lakhs by cheque in June 2014. The builder promised completion within 18 months and gave him an allotment letter saying the project would be finished by early January 2016 or his money would be refunded. The builder never started the project, and has only refunded â‚¹2.3 lakhs so far. Now, the builder is asking for receipts for every refund he makes. Is it right to give them receipts?

My divorce case is ongoing, and my wife has expressed a desire to stay together. During the cross-examination, my father-in-law filed a false police complaint accusing me and my father of assault, allegedly using political influence. He even created fake witnesses, despite a normal medical report. I was at the railway station at the time, and my father was at home. I have call records proving I was on the phone with several people during the alleged incident time. We’ve already contacted the Superintendent, Inspector General, and Deputy Inspector General for a fair investigation and to track our location using mobile data. The case is now in court. Can I request the court to trace our location during that time, or are there any other steps I can take?

I’ve been married for almost four years, and we have a two-year-old son. I have a job, and before my delivery, I gave my husband 80% of my salary in cash, which he demanded. I went to my parents’ place for the delivery. After our son was born, there was a fight between both families, and my husband verbally abused me over the phone, demanding I quit my job, come back home, and cut ties with my family, threatening violence if I didn’t. When I refused, his parents spread false rumors about me to our relatives. I emailed my husband detailing how much I had financially supported him, but he denied receiving any money and claimed he had spent a lot on me, even counting food expenses. I stopped responding after his lie. Now, his uncle wants me to collect my belongings as they are moving and has suggested a mutual consent divorce, which my father rejected. My gold jewelry is still with him, and his uncle promises to return it soon. I want to know what legal steps he can take against me and what precautions I should take to protect myself.
