My family and I booked a flat in the Ekdant FNG project in Surajpur, Greater Noida, back in July 2012. We opted for a flexible payment plan and have paid almost the entire amount, except for a small portion of the additional charges. Now, the builder has stopped construction and is selling the construction materials and machinery on-site to settle debts with creditors. He clearly has no intention of finishing the project. The project was originally planned with five towers, each with 14 floors, but the builder has illegally increased the height of Tower A and B to 24 floors without consulting us. He even told the contractor to sell off the remaining materials on-site. I am left with no funds to pay the remaining amount. What legal options do I have? Which court should I approach?
