My resignation was accepted on July 10th, 2013, with immediate effect from June 24th, 2013, even though I had served the required one-month notice period. Despite working throughout this period, I was only paid my basic salary for the notice period. My employer claims that I was not present in the office, but there was no system for recording attendance. They seem to be using this to avoid paying my full salary, including allowances, for the time I was still working.

I worked as a daily wage employee in the Thane Zilla Parishad from 1986 to 1995. I resigned due to low pay, but in 1998, an Industrial Court ruled that I should be considered a permanent employee from 1986 onwards. The Zilla Parishad appealed this decision in the High Court, but I didn’t appear. The High Court dismissed the petition, saying the Zilla Parishad should revive it if I sought the benefits. Now, I’m seeking the financial difference between my actual wages and what I would have earned as a permanent employee from 1986 until my resignation in 1995. The Zilla Parishad claims they can’t pay because I resigned before the court order. They also say there’s no need to revive the petition.
