I worked for a renowned company in Noida for over two years. After serving my full notice period, I left. Before leaving, I received a deputation amount because I was working at a client site. The company had emailed stating that if I left before six months, this amount would be recovered at termination. However, I left after four and a half months. During my clearance process, there was no discussion about the deputation amount. I received a “No Dues” clearance letter and experience certificate. Assuming they waived the amount in good faith, I didn’t think more of it. But now, during my final settlement, they’re denying any payment and even demanding money for the statement. After discussing this, they admitted their mistake in not informing me during clearance. Despite this, they haven’t responded to my emails. Should I wait or send them a legal notice?
