I worked in a semi-government department in Himachal Pradesh from 1998 to 2007. I was unfortunately terminated but later pursued other career opportunities. In 2016, the HP government announced openings for clerical positions, where each year of relevant experience earned a point in the selection process. However, they disregarded my 8+ years of prior experience due to the gap between 2007 and 2015. Can I legally challenge this decision?

I’m working in a central government department on contract, and they’re deducting 10% from my salary for the Provident Fund. They’re calculating it only on my Band Pay and Grade Pay, leaving out the Dearness Allowance (DA). My current salary is around 6,000 Band Pay plus 2,000 Grade Pay, with a DA of around 120%. They’re deducting 10% of 8,000 (Band Pay + Grade Pay), which seems incorrect. Should the DA be included in the PF calculation? Is it correct to deduct only 10% of my basic pay and grade pay?

My employer stopped paying my salary after December 2013, even though I worked for them for over 18 months as a Senior Software Engineer. I took a home loan from a bank in 2006 for â‚¹3.5 lakh and made regular payments for five years. In 2012, the bank sent me a letter with a total balance amount, but when I reviewed my monthly statements, I discovered they charged me an interest rate of 18.5% despite promising 11.75% at the time of the loan. I’ve contacted them numerous times through calls, emails, and in person, but haven’t received any resolution. Now, they’ve sent a letter with an advertisement for an auction under rules 8(5), 9(1), and 13(4). I don’t own any other property, and my family and I live in a single 25 square meter room in a Mahada House in Mumbai. What can I do to resolve this situation?
