My family and I are from a Scheduled Caste background and follow Hinduism. I married a Christian girl in a court marriage after facing initial difficulties. My wife is very controlling, she decides everything in the house. She doesn’t let me or my family eat properly, my mother and father have to cook for everyone. She constantly harasses us mentally. My wife and I have been married for 18 years, and after many attempts to reconcile, I had to file for divorce on grounds of infidelity. We couldn’t reach a mutual agreement, and I have strong evidence, including witness testimonies and phone recordings, proving her affair. The family seems involved as well.
