My brother was admitted to a school in Bihar in 2015 for Class IX. We’ve just learned he can’t take the Class X Board Exam because the school was disaffiliated by CBSE in 2013. The school is still operating and even uses the same affiliation code on its documents. What legal options do I have to take action against the school? I’m currently living in Mumbai. Can I file a lawsuit there?

My wife passed away six years after our marriage, leaving behind two young children – a two-year-old and a six-year-old. My in-laws have accused me of dowry death, filing a case against me under Sections 304(B) and 498(A). I was arrested but am currently out on bail. My parents, both in their seventies, and I are now responsible for our children. The court has recently framed charges against me and has summoned my in-laws to testify in the next hearing. Thankfully, we’ve reached an agreement with them, and they are willing to withdraw the case. Is it possible for them to do so? How can this be done? Should we approach the High Court to have the case dismissed?
