My business used Just Dial’s advertising service in June 2017, paying for a year upfront. The marketing was so successful, I stopped setting up automatic payments. But in August, Just Dial started debiting my account again, without notice. These charges were inconsistent with our original agreement, and they’re now saying the automatic payment mandate is lifelong. Can they debit my account for amounts different from the original agreement? Can they arbitrarily decide how much to debit? Is it legal to debit my account after the agreement expired, even though I haven’t renewed the mandate? They’ve now issued an invoice, but I’m confused about my rights.

I booked a shop with a builder three years ago and paid them approximately Rs. 950,000. I have receipts for the payment. There’s been no progress on the shop construction, so I requested a refund. The builder and property dealer agree to return my money, but only around Rs. 650,000, cutting off almost Rs. 300,000 without explanation. They claim this is their company policy, but their letter mentions a 21% interest charge for delayed payments. They’ve used my money for three years without even returning the full amount, despite the interest they owe. What are my legal options in this situation?

I bought a flat in a construction linked scheme under BSNL Sancharnest (a cooperative society) in Palm Wood, Ghaziabad, back in 2012. The promised possession date was December 2015. Recently, they’ve sprung a surprise, demanding an extra 1.5 lakhs on top of the original price. They’ve also made parking compulsory now, which wasn’t the case initially, and are asking another 2 lakhs for it. To add to this, they’ve mentioned they might increase the price further. On top of everything, they’ve changed the exit clause, denying immediate payment upon selling the flat. They’ll only return the money after a certain period.

I got a Tikona internet connection in December and paid three months in advance, about ₹3900. After just two weeks, the connection started acting up, and despite repeated complaints, it never got fixed. Eventually, they said my area wasn’t suitable for their service. My family booked a flat in 2012, with possession promised for March 2013. But, the handover was delayed until March 2016. The brochure mentioned stilt car parking, although the agreement didn’t. It also stated that parking wasn’t separately sellable. During possession, I asked for my assigned space. They offered me a choice from available spots, but then marked my chosen space without confirming. Later, I found out they’d given my parking to someone else. Now, they’re offering an open space near my flat, with a makeshift roof. I’m worried this is common area and shouldn’t be used for parking. Can I fight for the stilt parking I was promised in court?
