A person with a disability who belongs to the Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) in India is also considered part of the general category (UR). Can this person then also be classified as a PH-UR candidate? I’m worried about losing my Class II service because I was told a PH-SEBC person can’t be classified as PH-UR. A few years ago, I was involved in a tragic accident where a baby, about 6 months old, passed away. Cases under sections 304 and 277 were filed against me. While I reached a settlement and was acquitted by the Lok Adalat, I didn’t collect the official court order. Recently, the police station confirmed that the complaint under section 304 is still on record. I’m applying for a government job now. Will this past case create any issues in my application? My husband left Malaysia in December 2011 and hasn’t been in contact since. I’m in Singapore on a work visa and have two young children in boarding school in India.
