I’m a Hindu from Kolkata, my father lives in our village. We have two brothers, and my father, who is now 85 and a retired teacher, gave me two property deeds in 2015. But last year, he suddenly filed a case against me in Chuchura, alleging that I tricked him into signing the deeds and kept him confined at my home. He even got a temporary court order against me. My friends and I worked at a company called Estingo Network Private Limited in Nangloi, Delhi. After resigning, we weren’t paid our dues. For three months before leaving, they made us work without salary, threatening resignation if we didn’t comply. When we resigned at the end of July, they claimed a 45-day policy for salary disbursement, but haven’t paid us anything yet. We filed a case with the Karampura Labour Court through Rashtriya Krantikaari Majdoor Union, but found out the company is closed.
