My grandfather lived in a humble mud house in a village near Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. He had five daughters and one son, my father. After he passed away, my grandmother made an agreement in 2014 to transfer the house to me. She gave each of my aunts 10,000 rupees and the agreement, signed by all my aunts, is in my possession.
