My marriage in 2008 blessed us with a daughter, now 6 years old. For the past 6 months, things have been difficult between us. My wife has been using old recordings of our arguments and personal jokes exchanged on our phones against me. She’s making false accusations about me, claiming I’m mistreating her. My in-laws have a troubled past â€“ my mother-in-law left my father-in-law after taking his money and home, and is now with another man. My sister-in-law even filed a false dowry harassment case against her husband. Now, it seems they’re targeting me. My wife, along with my daughter, suddenly arrived at my house and attacked me, trying to grab my phone which contains recordings of their threats against me. She even bit my hand and chest. I had to leave my home and filed a complaint, along with medical proof. She then filed a dowry harassment case against me, but the police haven’t arrested me yet. They’ve just asked me to come to the station. What should I do now? Should I seek legal advice? My wife has been having an affair, wanting to replace me with her new lover. She’s taken over our home. We’re a middle-class family who bought our home 30 years ago. Back then, the bathroom was built outside the house and wasn’t included in the property documents.
