My community wants to choose just one vendor for everything â€“ milk, phone, cable, internet, newspaper, and more. They want to force everyone to use them. I booked two train tickets for Rs. 3,124 on December 31, 2016, through Makemytrip, to travel to Chennai on January 1, 2017, at 5:10 PM. On the day of travel, I received a message from the bus operator saying the journey was cancelled. Sadly, I missed that message, and when I reached the station, there was no bus until 5:30 PM. I called the bus operator’s number from my e-ticket and they claimed they had informed me about the cancellation and offered a refund. I booked a different bus and traveled to Chennai, but haven’t received my refund yet, despite calling the bus operator and lodging a complaint with Makemytrip on January 13, 2017. I haven’t received any updates from Makemytrip, and the bus operator now claims they’ve already transferred the refund. What should I do?
