I’ve already paid more than the agreed contract amount, even including extra work we requested. I even made payments that were supposed to be done after the project was finished, in good faith. But now, after completing about 80% of the work, the contractor has stopped working regularly and is demanding more money, claiming increased material costs and extra payments to his workers. I’ve been patient, but I’ve lost 8-10 months and a significant amount of money. How can I move forward to get this project finished quickly without spending any more, since I’ve already paid more than enough?

My father works at LIC India. Someone used his LIC account, which he knew the password for, to make several transactions in my mother’s name. We have no idea who did this. My loan from HDFC Bank is five months old. They charged me ₹3,000 for insurance but haven’t provided any documentation. I stopped EMI payments and requested the insurance papers, but haven’t received them. Despite this, I’ve paid five EMIs in cash after my cheque bounced due to a signature error. HDFC is now threatening legal action for non-payment. Will I have a strong case if I file an FIR or take legal action against them for violating our agreement?

I had laser hair removal done at Visage Clinic in Pune in September, October, and November of 2015. I paid the full amount of â‚¹75,000 for four full-body sessions. The doctor assured me that after these sessions, hair growth would be drastically reduced, leaving only very fine hairs. This was supposed to be evident within a couple of months.However, in 2016, I’m experiencing increased hair growth on my hands, chest, and legs. The doctor said this might be because they didn’t use a higher energy level during the treatments. I’m requesting a full refund.Can you advise me on what steps I can take in this situation? What are my chances of winning a case against the clinic? Could I also claim reimbursement for legal fees and other expenses incurred?

Hi Mr. Mathew, I’m Anchit. I resigned from my previous company and served my notice period but had to leave early by three days.
