Dear Tata Motors,I, Surendra Prasad, joined your company on 4th October 1978, with employee ticket number 310162. I retired on 1st April 2013 after 25 years of service, with a last drawn salary of â‚¹59,115 per month.My pension is supposed to be calculated based on the Defined Benefit scheme, as per the Superannuation Fund Trust Deed, paragraphs 11.1 and 11.2. The formula clearly states that the pension should be calculated on the last drawn salary and total service period:(0.75% of last drawn salary x non-membership period) + (1.5% of last drawn salary x membership period)However, I’m receiving a pension based on a reduced salary of â‚¹17,465 and only 15 years of service. Why am I being denied my rightful pension amount, which should be around â‚¹3,13,896 per year?Could you please clarify the discrepancy and explain the reason for the reduced pension amount? I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter.

I quit my job without giving a month’s notice, and agreed to pay for it. My contract says I need to give two months’ notice if I’m not confirmed, or pay if I leave. I quit my job on September 22nd, 2016, and my company’s policy requires a three-month notice period. I’ve already worked two months, but they’re refusing to let me buy out the remaining month. They’re threatening a criminal case if I do! When I joined, the notice period was only one month. They changed it to three months in my April 2016 appraisal, but I didn’t read the document carefully. I hired a driver for my home a few months ago and paid him regularly. We didn’t have any formal agreement, just cash payments. Hi Mr. Mathew, I’m Anchit. I resigned from my previous company and served my notice period but had to leave early by three days. I informed HR about this and they asked me to confirm my last working day in another email, which I did. They acknowledged my request and sent a reply.
