My husband filed a false case against me and my family under Section 420 of the IPC, claiming we cheated him. We are innocent and have proof. He even got his father to give a false statement against us. However, the case was dismissed because a crucial witness, a police officer, didn’t appear in court. My husband and I signed a compromise agreement after I filed a case against him, promising to live together. The agreement didn’t mention anything about property.
