I’ve had an SBI account since 2008 with a limit of â‚¹2 lakhs. My business struggled, and despite trying to keep it afloat, my account went into the red. I tried to regularize the account twice but couldn’t keep up. I wrote to SBI requesting they convert the outstanding amount into an EMI plan so I could pay it off monthly. I have copies of all these requests.However, SBI took â‚¹80,000 from my FD without informing me and demanded the remaining balance. I wrote to them again about the EMI plan but received no response. I’ve now been sued in Durgapur court, both me and my mother who’s the guarantor. I have proof of their acknowledgement of my requests. I’m struggling financially. What should I do now?

Imagine a person seeking justice from a quasi-judicial body in India, where a member repeatedly denies them fair treatment and makes biased statements. I’ve been fighting a legal battle for years, losing a declaration suit against the government in both the lower court and the High Court back in 2006. Since then, I’ve been trying to regularize my land through GOMS No. 166, but the officials are making it difficult. I booked a resale flat and paid a booking amount of Rs. 2 lakhs by cheque. Due to unforeseen financial difficulties, I had to cancel the deal and requested a refund. The seller initially offered only Rs. 1 lakh. After filing a complaint with the police, he agreed to repay the full amount by February 16th. He gave me two cheques of Rs. 50,000 each, dated April 16th and May 16th, but both bounced in June 5th. Unfortunately, I was hospitalized for 1.5 months due to illness. I was born in Andhra Pradesh but my hometown is in Madhya Pradesh. During my college years in Pune, I needed a domicile certificate but didn’t have one. To get it, I had to obtain a new birth certificate from my hometown stating I was born in MP. It’s been ten years now, and I’m worried I might have accidentally used this incorrect birthplace in other documents, like my voter ID. Could this lead to legal trouble? Is there a way to correct this mistake, including my birth place on documents where I might have mistakenly mentioned MP?
