My Activa got seized by the police for riding without a helmet, insurance, license, going against traffic, and rash driving. They also added the owner’s name to the ticket. My final payment date to the court is October 28th, but I’m short on cash. Can I request a payment extension to the 1st of next month? Would there be any issues with that? Also, the lawyer I met at the court told me to pay â‚¹3,500. Is that the correct fine amount?

My husband lost his job and needed money for credit card bills. We used my gold jewellery as collateral for a loan. Later, my mother-in-law used more of my gold to get a car loan for me. The money went into my account, which I gave to my husband. He promised to return the gold within a year. We separated, and he couldn’t pay the car loan.
