I’m pursuing my MBBS in Bangalore under RGUHS. I recently appeared for my second year exams and unfortunately failed in two subjects, with a mere one mark difference in one of them. I applied for a re-evaluation and photocopy of my answer scripts. To my surprise, there’s a thirteen-mark difference between the initial and re-evaluated scores, and the final result is based on their average. Even my Head of Department believes I should have scored higher. I approached the sub-registrar at RGUHS requesting a third evaluation, as just one mark is keeping me from passing. I’m confident I can score better. But, they informed me that a third evaluation is only possible with a fifteen-mark difference, and for a thirteen-mark discrepancy, I need to file a case.
