I was in a relationship with a girl from Delhi for four years, starting in January 2012 and ending in May 2016. We lived together for two and a half years during that time. We were planning our future together, but things changed. I felt she became overly demanding, and she insisted on not living with my family after marriage. I moved back to my hometown in March 2015 due to personal reasons. We continued talking over the phone until May 2016, but the long distance proved difficult and we stopped communicating.My concern is whether she could sue me for breach of promise to marry or file a false case against me. We ended our relationship amicably, but Iâ€™m worried about her possessive nature. I want to mention that she belongs to a Scheduled Caste, as I’m not sure if this impacts the situation. My husband left me 11 years ago, leaving me with our two children, a son now 18 and a daughter now 17. He filed for divorce, which I only found out about through a newspaper ad in 2008. I filed for maintenance that same year. I’ve been working on a temporary basis, earning less than 17,000 rupees per month, while he’s a government employee earning around 60,000 rupees or more.
