As a government employee, a vigilance file was opened against me in June 2012 based on a complaint from another government agency. Despite this, my department hasn’t found any evidence of wrongdoing. The agency hasn’t provided any proof either. They recently sent a letter mentioning a pending Supreme Court case, but my name isn’t listed as a party. Hi there,We’re a new apartment association in Bangalore, and we’re facing a tricky situation. A couple of owners haven’t been paying their maintenance dues, despite our repeated requests. Our byelaws state that after two months of non-payment and a 15-day notice, we can disconnect their water supply. Is this legally permissible, or could it be considered a criminal offence? I’ve been out on bail after spending two months in jail. The police inspector says the charge sheet isn’t filed yet and they can help close the case by saying I was wrongly arrested. They say the victim won’t show up in court and they can talk to them to resolve it. But my lawyer says the charge sheet is already filed. Who should I trust? After talking to their customer service, I chose a room costing â‚¹3,000, which was within my budget. My sister, who was a lecturer in Bangalore, passed away in August 2015 due to cancer. Sadly, she had been divorced for 18 years and had no contact with her husband or son, who is now 27.
