Our society was registered three years ago with a committee of seven members. We later added six more members, but were unaware of the legal process for changing the committee. A broker helped us with the paperwork, and all twelve committee members signed the required documents. Six members were present and signed, but the broker also had us sign on behalf of the absent members. Since we were unfamiliar with the process, we signed documents (including ID proof) for those who weren’t there.
