I began my business in 2010 and signed a dealership agreement. The company took 2 cheques from me as security. Things went well until they sent me excess goods. I asked them to take back the extra materials and settle the account, but they didn’t listen. This extra material became useless and caused me losses. Now, I’m shutting down my business and looking for a job. During this time, the company presented my security cheques to the bank, which bounced due to insufficient funds. I bought a plot in Hyderabad back in 1973 and registered it in my wife’s name. Years later, in 1987, she gave me a full power of attorney, allowing me to sell the property without any time limit. Sadly, my wife passed away recently, and I’m getting old. I want to sell the plot, get a good price, and use the money for charitable work and for my children. But to my shock, I found out that my daughter and her husband, along with my son, cancelled the deed and registered the plot in their names. They are well-settled with their own properties. My friend borrowed money from me to give to someone who promised him a job. It’s been over 4 months and he hasn’t got the job or repaid the money. He keeps making empty promises and hasn’t paid up. My wife and I have decided to get a divorce under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. We’ve agreed to settle the terms, including returning gifts or a sum of money.
