I took a loan from ICICI Bank and they convinced me to buy a 4-year loan insurance, saying it was mandatory. Since I planned to repay the loan early, I asked the bank representative if I’d get a refund when I closed the loan. He assured me I would. After closing the loan, I tried to cancel the insurance but was told I couldn’t because it had to be cancelled within the first month. But the loan couldn’t be closed for six months, making cancellation impossible. The representative wouldn’t answer how I could cancel the insurance. When I asked if loan insurance is required, he said “no.” This clearly shows they miss-sold me the insurance, so I’m demanding a full refund.

My father gave a blank cheque and an unsigned promissory note to someone without a date. He passed away on 15th July 2015. We closed his bank account, stopping all existing cheques. He only owned a Nano car, financed through Tata Motors on 17th November 2012 for 5 years. I joined as an RPF Constable on 1st November 2014. After completing my initial training, during practical training, I was falsely accused under IPC 354 and POCSO Act sections 11(1) and 12. I was arrested on 29th October 2015 and got bail on 16th November 2015. Even though my case was still pending in court, I was discharged on 19th May 2016.
