For two years now, my boss has been making inappropriate comments about my appearance. I told him to stop, but since then, he’s been unfairly treating me. He assigns me less work, picks on my mistakes, and even threatens my job. This has happened three times now, and recently he’s been making personal comments about his relationships with other women, implying it’s my fault he’s behaving this way. My friend lent their car to someone and took a blank cheque as a security, with no formal agreement. Now, the borrower has written a huge amount on the cheque, deposited it, and is threatening a cheque bounce case. Is there a chance of a warrant being issued, or will it just be a legal notice? My family bought a flat in Panchkula Sector 20 back in 2010. The builder promised a special loan scheme for two years, but it never came through. We paid another 10% of the cost and got the allotment letter. The builder finally allowed us to get a mortgage in October 2011. But then they started demanding more money and charging interest for delays.We complained and the builder stopped charging interest for a while. But, the promised delivery date passed. Respected Sir/Madam,I recently booked a plot in Madurai from a builder and paid an advance of ₹2 lakhs through an SBI cheque. The builder later requested 80% of the remaining amount in cash, which I’m not comfortable with. As we haven’t signed any formal agreement, I declined his request and asked for my advance payment back. I only have a notebook receipt for the ₹2 lakhs.
