I studied at BSEH, Bhiwani, back in 2005. In 2008, I changed my name, and the board issued my 10th and 12th certificates with the updated name. However, my Aadhaar, Driving License, Voter ID, PAN, and even my birth certificate still reflect my old name. This discrepancy is causing major problems with my passport application, especially since I’m now pursuing my Masters and aiming for a PhD in Veterinary Pharmacology abroad. The university staff has advised me to get my certificates corrected by the board first, which would then allow them to rectify their records. Sir, I’m facing immense difficulty due to this name mismatch. My professors have also warned me about potential issues when applying for government jobs. Could you please guide me on how to obtain corrected certificates so I can apply for a passport? Your help would be truly appreciated.
