My landlord’s relative is demanding I pay a new security deposit even though I haven’t received my old one back. He claims the previous caretaker ran off with the money, and I have to start fresh with a new caretaker. I don’t have a receipt for my original deposit, but they have my details in their records. My tenant, a partnership of 3 friends, rented my commercial property in May 2015. One partner didn’t contribute any money. After 6 months, one partner told me the non-investor couldn’t handle losses and wasn’t participating. Another partner wanted to transfer his share to his mother. I signed a new partnership agreement with the remaining two (one original partner and the mother). The non-investor didn’t respond to calls or sign the new agreement. Now, after 18 months, he’s sent a notice claiming I shouldn’t have signed the new agreement without his resignation. What should I do?

We’ve been renting a house for three years, from May 2015 to 2018. The problem is, our landlord took a loan against the house and isn’t paying his installments. I rented a house in India under a Leave and License agreement. I moved out on September 30th, leaving some belongings behind with the owner’s agreement.
