I joined as an RPF Constable on 1st November 2014. After completing my initial training, during practical training, I was falsely accused under IPC 354 and POCSO Act sections 11(1) and 12. I was arrested on 29th October 2015 and got bail on 16th November 2015. Even though my case was still pending in court, I was discharged on 19th May 2016. Finally, on 4th January 2017, the court acquitted me due to benefit of doubt. Can I get my job back now? Please guide me.

My teacher appointment was finalized by a single judge, but the department appealed. The High Court dismissed the appeal, and the department went to the Supreme Court, which also dismissed their appeal. The education department has issued an order, but they’re refusing to pay my salary and back pay. The District Education Officer is ready to approve the bills, but the Superintendent is returning them without explanation, likely due to personal reasons. Can I file a contempt case against the Superintendent? What steps can I take to get my salary and back pay, and can I claim any compensation or penalty?

I work at an IT firm and have a brilliant idea! My company has a team that handles patents. If this idea gets patented, who owns it? Does the company own it? Can I file a patent on my own, even if the company has an interest?

I worked for almost 5 years at BEML in Bangalore and resigned with proper approval before joining HAL Bangalore. When my gratuity claim was denied, I filed a complaint with the Labour Commissioner (ALC) in Bangalore. The ALC ruled in my favor, but BEML appealed to the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (DY CLC). The first two hearings were missed by BEML, but their lawyer attended the third hearing and asked for an adjournment. If the appeal ultimately goes against me, what are my options? Also, is my demand for gratuity legally valid? I’m seeking an opinion on these matters.

I worked at a school for seven years. When I was pregnant for the first time, they gave me unpaid leave. However, they refused leave during my second pregnancy, even though they assured me they would call me back. I left in August 2014, and they cleared my PF in February 2015. I later learned about gratuity and, after arguing, they paid it in August 2015. I was five months pregnant at the time and want my job back. I don’t have an appointment letter, but I have an experience certificate signed by them. They won’t pay gratuity, bonus, or leave encashment, but they did pay my gratuity after I showed them legal papers. Can I do anything to get my job back?

Imagine a student in India gets a job offer after a campus interview, with a confirmed start date in their email. The company then assigns them an assignment during a three-day training period. If the company rejects the student’s work, claiming it’s not satisfactory, can the student legally challenge this decision?

My wife worked at the Thanjavur Division of LIC India in Tamil Nadu for over three months, from December 1985 to March 1986. She had appointment orders, but they were lost during the devastating Chennai floods of 2015. I requested copies through an RTI application, but LIC India stated they have no records from that period. The recent Supreme Court judgement on contempt of court (09/08/2016) and the earlier decision (18/03/2015) have raised concerns about securing permanent employment without proof. I’m seeking advice on how to navigate this situation.

I was marked absent for 210 days, with 78 days considered unauthorized and 132 days treated as unauthorized absence. My company has penalized me: 1 increment cut for the 78 days and 12 increments cut along with a demotion from Scale IV to Scale III for the remaining 132 days. Is this double punishment? They paid me for 96 days during this period, claiming my leave applications were denied. Can I challenge this in court?

I worked for a cash management company for two years, joining on May 29, 2014 and leaving on May 22, 2016. I didn’t serve my notice period, but received my full and final settlement after three months. I filled out all required PF forms, like Form 19, and submitted the necessary documents. My manager assured me I’d receive my PF within 120 days, but it’s been four months and I haven’t received it yet. When I inquired with HR, they said the manager hadn’t sent my PF documents. Now, I’m considering legal action against the manager and the company. What should I do?

Sir, I am working in the revenue department. My father unfortunately passed away while in service in 2012. Due to amendment rule 6, I couldn’t apply for a compensation appointment within the year of his passing. I am currently unemployed and eager to secure this position. Could you please advise if I am still eligible to apply for the compensation appointment under these circumstances? Thank you for your time and assistance.

I was involved in a fight in college back in 2011 and the college filed a case against me. However, they withdrew the complaint in 2013 and the matter was settled through a Lok Adalat. I was cleared of all charges. Could this past incident impact my chances of getting a government job? Would it cause problems during police verification?

I was a manager at a company until December 2015. The company asked me to resign as they couldn’t afford my salary. I resigned in November 2015 and completed my two-month notice period. However, in late November, HR emailed me saying I didn’t need to work in December and they’d pay my November and December salary as part of my final settlement. They paid half my November salary when I asked. Now they’re saying they’ll only pay my December basic salary because I didn’t work that month and won’t pay the other components. What should I do?
