I booked a flat in Panvel back in 2013, and the builder promised possession by 2015 or 2016. The initial allotment letter didn’t mention a specific possession date. Later, they issued a new allotment letter changing the payment schedule, which I didn’t agree to. I want to either transfer or cancel the flat, but the builder insists on a 5% penalty for cancellation and forbids transfers. They also say the refund will only happen after finding a new buyer. I’ve already paid around 40% of the total cost. What are my options?

Last year, I enrolled in a 4-day Information Technology training and certification course at a Gurgaon institute, paying â‚¹35,000. The fee covered training, materials, and the certification exam. However, the training abruptly ended after only two days due to the trainer’s resignation. The promised course materials and certification exam never materialized.The institute assured us a rescheduled training once a new trainer was available. Despite repeated calls, their response remained the same â€“ insufficient student numbers for a new batch. Six months later, realizing I was being misled, I contacted the institute through email. After lengthy discussions, they offered a different course, but with an additional fee.I’m seeking guidance to recover my tuition fees.

I joined Brilliant Coaching Centre’s two-year classroom program (BTYCP-P) in July 2011, with enrollment number I2PS13UN0077. I paid a total of â‚¹100,000 in two installments of â‚¹50,000 each (via ICICI cheques numbered 023031 and 023032 dated July 23rd and August 30th, 2011). My family booked a home under a scheme in July 2008, promised for July 2011. We made full payment and got the lease deed in July 2013, but still haven’t received the keys. We filed a case in March 2015. Now, the developer is demanding more money, citing a High Court ruling. Our case is in the SCDRC Lucknow (CC/68/2015), but they keep delaying their reply. Despite clear legal grounds, they claim the case is barred and want their decision first. We haven’t received any possession offer yet. How can we speed up the case? I ordered a teakwood leather jacket from Snapdeal on September 15th and returned it on the 16th due to sizing issues. I clearly mentioned the return request was for size reasons. However, the courier guy picked up the wrong item instead of the original one. I immediately called him within 30 minutes, but he didn’t answer. I also contacted the courier service manager, but they didn’t pick up either. They then sent my product to the warehouse for quality check. Obviously, the quality was declined because the original product is still with me. I even called Snapdeal customer service and explained that the courier took the wrong product before my return request was declined. On October 4th, they sent me the wrong product! I called customer service again and asked for another return request, but they won’t give me one. What should I do now?

My family and I bought a flat from a well-known builder in Noida, but it’s been a nightmare. They sold us an illegal basement servant quarter, charged us extra for the apartment, and delayed handing it over for three years. Then, they charged us a whopping 36% interest for the delay! Now, they want to return our money with just 8% interest, which is unacceptable. We took possession two years ago, but the registry was only done in late 2013. My family booked a flat in Assotech’s “The Nest” project back in 2012, paying half the cost. We signed the agreement with the builder then. After 2014, we haven’t heard from them. Every time we call, they promise work will start in two weeks. Yesterday, their main office was closed, so we went to their temporary office. I paid a token amount to a builder by cheque in their name. They promised to get the completion certificate by mid-November and then hand over the documents. My loan is already approved, but I’m worried because the builder didn’t give me a receipt for the token payment. If any issues arise, how can I recover my money? I’m a GNM nurse from a village near Bangalore, and I wanted to pursue a BSc Nursing degree from Laxmidevi Nursing Institute in Hoskote. I trusted an agent to help me with the admission process and submitted my original certificates as they asked. But due to financial difficulties, I had to withdraw my application in December 2013.
