I opened a fast food joint in Thane called “Khao Galli” and registered the name under class 43. After two years, I decided to sell the business. Since the location was rented, I found a buyer and introduced them to the landlord. They signed a new lease agreement, and I cancelled mine. However, the new owner is still using my “Khao Galli” name even though they’re operating under a different name on the lease. We had agreed on a business transfer agreement, but it’s not finalized, and now they’re trying to renegotiate the price, which feels unfair. What are my options? Can I take action since the trademark is still registered in my name, even though they have a lease agreement with a different name? Also, can I open a similar restaurant elsewhere without any legal issues, considering the trademark remains registered under my name? The trademark currently shows “Objected” online, due to a recent query, but I’ve already submitted a legal response.

I took a loan from ICICI Bank and they convinced me to buy a 4-year loan insurance, saying it was mandatory. Since I planned to repay the loan early, I asked the bank representative if I’d get a refund when I closed the loan. He assured me I would. After closing the loan, I tried to cancel the insurance but was told I couldn’t because it had to be cancelled within the first month. But the loan couldn’t be closed for six months, making cancellation impossible. The representative wouldn’t answer how I could cancel the insurance. When I asked if loan insurance is required, he said “no.” This clearly shows they miss-sold me the insurance, so I’m demanding a full refund.

The seller claimed it wasn’t supported, and I believed him as he was the owner. However, I later discovered that the phone actually does support OTG.Disappointed, I requested a refund, repair, or a return, but the seller didn’t respond. Before and during the sale, the seller concealed information about past repairs on the phone, only sharing it afterwards. This lack of transparency significantly impacted my decision to buy. I later learned the repair was related to charging issues. I won a flat lottery in February 2014 and paid around half the price by May 2015. Unfortunately, I lost my job and couldn’t keep up with the payments for over a year. The builder cancelled the allotment in June 2016, claiming a 15% forfeiture and promising to return the balance. However, they haven’t returned anything yet because I disagree with the forfeiture. They have offered to reduce the amount in emails, but I want my full refund. Is it possible to get the full amount back?

I booked a flat in Raheja Developers’ “Krishan Housing Scheme” under Haryana’s Affordable Housing Policy 2013. I cancelled the booking in November 2016, but Raheja Developers are refusing to refund my money. They say they’ll only refund after selling my unit and receiving payment from the new buyer. I’ve been managing bank transfers for three years. Last May, I lost a bag with ₹4.5 lakhs in customer deposits while travelling by auto.
