I’m a student who recently appeared for my 12th board exams in Madhya Pradesh. Unfortunately, I received a lower score than expected in one subject. I requested a certified copy of my answer sheet through RTI and found a clear mistake in the total marks – they missed adding 4 marks! I applied for a re-evaluation, but they haven’t updated my score and claim there’s “no change”. I’ve travelled twice to Bhopal, which is about 300 km away, but they keep saying they’ll inform my school about the correction. What legal options do I have to rectify this situation?

My son was studying in 10th standard at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pondicherry. He was denied admission to 11th grade due to a cut-off grade, despite being a current student. I’m a retired government employee, having served as a Postal Assistant after clearing the All India Postal Examination. After about a year, I was terminated alongside roughly 1500 colleagues across five states, citing temporary service rules. We appealed to the CAT and won in several states, but the Department of Posts challenged the decision in one High Court and prevailed.
