In Greater Noida West, builders are demanding an additional 20% of the basic price at the time of possession, claiming it’s for escalation and farmer compensation. They included a one-sided agreement mentioning the “company can raise any additional demand at any time”. They say they paid farmer compensation in 2012 and resumed work in 2013, paying more.
