I was in a car accident on May 18th, 2016, when my car collided with another vehicle. Thankfully, my driver and I were fine, but three people in the other car were hospitalized. They were released the following day. The police filed a case against both vehicles under sections 227/337/338/427, but didn’t name any drivers. It’s been four months, and I haven’t received any calls from the police, the other party, the court, or my lawyer. Here’s some context:1. The people in the other car were all locals.2. The driver of the other car was over 60 years old.3. The other party demanded INR 70,000 in compensation after the accident, but we refused.4. My driver took anticipatory bail three days after the accident.5. The police released my car ten days after the accident.My question is, how much longer should I wait for a court notice or a call from the police? Could the case have been dismissed?

Respected Sir,I filed an appeal in the High Court in 2015 against a decision by the Additional District Judge under the Rent Control Act. The case status always showed “Judgment Type – Interlocutory Non AFR” until the last listing, where it changed to “Judgment Type – Final Non AFR” while the overall case status remains “PENDING”. We just moved out of our flat in Whitefield. Our landlord kept one month’s rent and maintenance charges, promising to refund us if a new tenant was found quickly.
