Our builder delayed our flats for 6 years and we filed two cases in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC). While one was up for hearing, the other was filed in August 2015. We were five buyers initially, representing over a thousand buyers for this project. Despite our pleas, the court dismissed both cases and asked us to seek approval from the Commission under Section 12(1)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), citing a ruling from September 2016. Only four flats have been delivered, and we lack the list of other buyers. How can we proceed with this application representing all the affected homeowners?

I’m a professor at a Deemed University funded by the Central Government, with over 30 years of dedicated service. Recently, I was suspended, accused of creating a WhatsApp group with the university logo for personal gain, while aiming to help alumni with career guidance. The enquiry process isn’t following the established CCA Rules of 1965, with only one session conducted a month ago. My suspension hasn’t been reviewed within the stipulated 90 days. I operate under the CCS (CCA) Rules of 1965 and the Institute’s regulations. Since the Institute isn’t under CAT/MAT jurisdiction, what legal options are available to me for reinstatement? My AC, bought in May 2015, had a persistent gas leakage problem. Despite multiple repairs, the issue recurred, leaving me without cool air for two entire summers. My father built two houses â€“ one in our ancestral village and another in a nearby town. The village land was inherited from our grandparents, while the town property is registered in my father’s name. He used his own savings to build both houses. After retiring, he built a third house using his retirement benefits on land owned by his elder brother. He also bought two vacant plots with his retirement funds. My uncle, his elder brother, didn’t contribute anything towards any of these properties, not even a small amount. My father doesn’t receive any pension, only a lump sum amount upon retirement. My uncle, however, continues to receive a pension.I have a few questions:1. Does my uncle have a legal right to a share in all the properties my father has acquired?2.
