My father passed away leaving behind property and investments under his joint family (HUF) name. His will doesn’t mention anything about this HUF estate. My grandfather inherited land and a house from his ancestors. After a family split, he received a portion of each. He has two sons, my father and my uncle. My mother, who had two sons, and my aunt, who had one son and three daughters, are no longer with us. My father and uncle remarried and had more children. After my father’s remarriage, he and my uncle began to neglect my brother and me. We lived with my grandfather for 15 years, but they have now accused us of taking all the property from him.
