You can file for child support in court even if your ex-husband refuses to give permission for adoption. Your lawyer should be advocating for your rights and the child’s best interests, regardless of your ex-husband’s actions. If you believe your lawyer is not acting in your best interest, you should consider seeking a second opinion from another lawyer.
