1. State the Code

Section 454 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC) deals with appeals against orders passed under Sections 452 and 453 of the CrPC.

This section outlines the right to appeal against certain orders passed by a Magistrate under Sections 452 and 453. These sections deal with:

  • Section 452: Ordering the removal of any person from any land or building.
  • Section 453: Ordering the restoration of possession of any land or building.

Section 454 states that any person aggrieved by an order passed under Sections 452 or 453 can appeal to the Court of Session.
